THE HUNT
Everyone who has ever dreamed of hunting Africa has their own vision of the ideal Safari. At Africa Anyway Safaris, our main goal is to bring your African dreams to a reality. Whether you see yourself stalking through the bushveld with your favorite rifle, sitting at a water hole with bow in hand, or long to be perched in the back of a bukkie searching for that trophy of a lifetime, we are here to make your African experience truly remarkable, and one you long to experience again and again.

BOW HUNTING
Africa Anyway Safaris has hosted many bowhunters over the years, and many of our properties are set up with the archer in mind. Being bowhunters ourselves, we have a deep rooted respect for the stick and string, and recognize that archery hunting creates a unique set of challenges and requirements for a successful hunt.
Our interest in the sport of bowhunting is a part of our DNA. It is who we are. Well constructed hides at historically productive waterholes provide the up close, personal, in your face experience a successful archery hunt demands. We have put out the effort to ensure our blinds offer the level of comfort and amenities that Africa is famous for.
After the shot, we are proud to claim the absolute best team of trackers in the business, making the recovery of your trophies an experience like no other, and leaving you with a smile long after your trophy is in the salt.

RIFLE HUNTING
No doubt, rifle hunting is the most popular method for people who decide to go on Safari. At Africa Anyway Safaris, we do not take a cookie cutter approach to hunting with a rifle. During the consultation period after booking your safari, we will discuss if you prefer to lay boot leather on the ground and spend your safari days sneaking through the African bush, or if a more classic approach of spotting game from the back of a high rack truck is what you long for. The only limiting factor is your level of fitness and imagination.

A lot of misinformation exists surrounding Africa and suitable rifle calibers. There is really no reason for someone, unless they are hunting dangerous game, to bring one of the big bore calibers written about in the classic safari journals…unless of course that is your preferred weapon you can confidently and accurately shoot. The truth is, with today’s modern cartridges and proper bullet selection, most people will benefit from a lighter recoiling rifle they can shoot comfortably.

HUNTING PRICES
When it comes to safari, pricing can be all over the board. The one thing we know to be true is that we can take you on a hunting safari…round trip…for less than the cost of most quality elk hunts in the United States. Prices can be based on package deals, or someone can come based on daily rates and shoot a la carte.
